Rebecca Greubel (she/they) is a director, writer and visualist focused on the poetry of everyday life. Her brain thinks in metaphors, colors and energies, and she often mixes them with reckless abandon. This translates the stories and experiences she shares into immersive visual encounters.

A Rebecca Greubel will always have a flair towards the surrealist, raw and poetic. Her work explores struggling women leads, mental illness, self-perception and societal gaze.

With a background in acting and theater production, as well as degrees in Decision Science and International Relations & Politics, her films emphasize thoughtful, curated intimacy, illuminating the sore, gut-wrenching truths about life and the ways it contradicts itself.
